NCA Coffee Gives Back at Convention

At the NCA Convention, coffee gives back. Make a difference in Tampa and the broader coffee community while connecting with fellow Convention attendees.

Day of Service

Join us in supporting Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting a culture of environmental stewardship through volunteer and educational opportunities. Day of Service volunteers will take part in a large-scale invasive species removal along the Hillsborough River shoreline at Temple Crest Park. This project directly contributes to restoring native habitat, improving ecological health, and giving back to an underserved Tampa Bay community. Sponsored by Melitta, Nestle and Starbucks Coffee Company.

NCA Awards Luncheon

All Convention attendees are invited to the NCA Awards Luncheon, where we will recognize this year’s Origin Charity of the Year Award winner as well as NCA members who give back to the coffee community through dedicated service and volunteerism. Lunch sponsored by Louis Dreyfus Company. NCA Origin Charity of the Year Award sponsored by Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee. NCA Individual Recognition Awards sponsored by Eight O’Clock Coffee.

International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA) Breakfast

This breakfast benefits IWCA’s mission to empower women in the global coffee community and features Beth Spong, CEO of Dean’s Beans Organic Coffee, presenting “Sustaining What Sustains Us.”

NCA Walk/Run

Start your day on Saturday with a 5K walk/run and support a good cause. A portion of the NCA Walk/Run fee will benefit the 2026 NCA Origin Charity of the Year winner. The starting line along the scenic Tampa Riverwalk is steps from the Marriott Water Street. Participants will go at their own pace as they enjoy networking at this first-time walk/run event at an NCA Convention.

Carbon Offset Project

NCA has partnered with ClimeCo in an endeavor to be a full carbon-offset Convention – the first-ever coffee convention anywhere striving toward carbon neutrality. We will once again be supporting the Cordillera Azul National Park REDD Project. Sponsored by Massimo Zanetti Beverage.
