William Brauner is a professional in the field of customs brokerage, currently serving as V.P. of Import Operations at Brauner International in Jersey City, NJ. With 29 years at the company, and 37 years in the industry, he has demonstrated a commitment to his role.

Brauner International is based in Jersey City, New Jersey. As V.P. of Import Operations, William Brauner works with importers before cargo ships to the United States. His responsibilities include researching duty rates and admissibility requirements, auditing Importer Security Filings, Customs Entries, and FDA Prior Notices. His expertise in working with customs, government agencies, freight forwarders, carriers, airlines, and cargo handlers has contributed to the stability of the business.

Over the years he has volunteered for committees with several associations, including local brokers in Florida and the NY/NJ region, as well as commodity-specific associations—helping expand understanding, expertise, and cooperation between industry stakeholders and government agencies.
