William Brauner is a seasoned professional in the field of customs brokerage, currently serving as V.P. Of Operations at Brauner International in Jersey City, NJ. With an impressive tenure of 26 years at the company, and 34 years total in the industry, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to his role.

Brauner International, based in Jersey City, New Jersey, is a licensed customs brokerage firm. As V.P. of Operations William Brauner works with importers long before their cargo is shipped to the United States. His responsibilities include researching duty rates and admissibility requirements, auditing Importer Security Filings, Customs Entries and FDA Prior Notices. His expertise in working with customs, government agencies, and freight forwarders, carriers, airlines, and cargo handlers has been instrumental in the success of the business.

Ms. Silke Fuchshofen, Consultant, Organic Insights Inc

Silke Fuchshofen worked for a freight forwarding agency in Hamburg, Germany, before obtaining her BSc in agriculture. From 2009 to 2019, she conducted about 800 organic inspections for all kinds of processing and handling operations in the United States. The owner of Organic Insights, Inc., Fuchshofen conducts inspector and certifier trainings and internal audits, and provides consulting services for processing and handling operations that seek organic certification or reinstatement or want to improve their organic procedures.

Wise

Amy Wise, Regulatory Affairs Lead Scientist, Global Product Safety & Quality Division, Starbucks Coffee Company

Amy Wise has been responsible for global leadership in regulatory and scientific matters on policy, product safety, and market compliance, including organic, food traceability, and food allergen management programs from a worldwide supply basis and regulatory frameworks.

Amy has 25 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, including raw agriculture commodities, manufacturing, CPG, food service, and retail operations. She has worked in global regulatory compliance, product safety, food safety management, and external trade group engagement. Amy is currently an active member of the National Coffee Association.
