Food and beverage products continue to be popular targets of the consumer class action plaintiffs’ bar, with new cases alleging false labeling or advertising filed almost daily. As relevant to coffee products in particular, there has been a high level of class action activity in three areas: sustainability and other ESG (environmental, social, governance) claims, statements about serving size or the number of servings per container, and product source. In this webinar, attorneys from Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP will discuss recent litigation in these areas and offer tips for staying out of the crosshairs.
