Elizabeth’s passion for market research is fueled by her desire to uncover strategic opportunities through data-driven storytelling. She has experience across a range of sectors, including consumer goods and tech, and holds an MBA from Ivey Business School.

At Dig, she has worked on tracking studies for the National Coffee Association and the Coffee Association of Canada. She loves her coffee sweet.

Hung

Cheryl Hung, Vice President, Dig Insights

Cheryl Hung is an insights consultant at Dig Insights with two decades of market research experience in food & beverage, retailer and non-profit sectors.

At Dig, she leads the National Coffee Association and Coffee Association of Canada’s coffee tracking work and has served as a Board Member for the Coffee Coalition for Racial Equity (2020-2022).

In 2023, she spoke at the Specialty Coffee Association’s Re:Co Symposium. Cheryl’s expertise in data and coffee has been published in Coffee People Zine, Go Fund Bean and the SCA’s 25 magazine. She prefers to take her coffee black!

Edwards

Michael Edwards, Co-Founder, Dig Insights

Michael co-founded Dig Insights in 2010 after spending over 20+ years working in research & insights on both the supplier and client side. This gives him a strong perspective on how companies use research to support effective decisions. He has worked with the National Coffee Association for over a decade. Most recently, he held the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Dig, helping the company grow internationally before “retiring” in early 2025.
