About the NCA FSVP Toolkit
The NCA is excited to announce an exclusive sponsorship opportunity to support its all-new U.S. Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) Toolkit. Within the last several years, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued seven main rules under the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), one of which requires companies involved in importing green coffee to comply with the FSVP.
The NCA’s FSVP Toolkit will help importers and roasters develop an FSVP Plan specific to imported green (unroasted) coffee. It will guide businesses step-by-step through the applicable regulations and will help them understand which areas of compliance are most important as they develop their own FSVP Plan and prepare for Food and Drug Administration (FDA) inspections.
The coffee industry encompasses a wide range of companies, from large to small. The FSVP toolkit will help large companies ensure that their plans meet industry standards, and help smaller companies to comprehend, and comply with, complex rules.
