Private label continues to grow and gain market share in North America. Retailers are leading the way in offering new solutions that resonate consumer values and changing taste preferences. At the same time more and more retailers are announcing public commitments to sustainably sourced coffee and overhaul their private label offerings. How will these two trends influence opportunities in the market? How can roasters and suppliers work to meet changing demand?

Fair Trade USA and Rainforest Alliance are joining together to offer a two-part series of webinars that covers sustainability trends in grocery retail. This first webinar focused on consumption and sustainability preference trends at retail, as well as providing an overview of how certifications directly partner with retailers to support impact and deliver on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals.

This webinar highlights:

  • Consumer and retail sustainability trends
  • How certifications engage with retailers across product categories
  • Opportunities to complement certification to create a unique value proposition
  • How suppliers can leverage these emerging opportunities
