COVID-19 Resource Center

Since the beginning of the coronavirus (COVID-19) public health emergency, NCA has received numerous questions about the impact the pandemic could have on coffee roasting, manufacturing, sales, and consumption. While there may be differences in how we produce, prepare, sell, and consume our coffee, coffee itself has never been considered a means of coronavirus transmission, and the risk of contracting or transmitting the virus via coffee's packaging is extremely low. Coffee, America's favorite beverage, is safe to drink.
