In 2011, the National Coffee Association (NCA) celebrated its 100 years in service to the U.S. coffee industry with a special Centennial Convention in New Orleans. Over seven hundred industry members and guests were on hand to view NCA's history proudly being displayed during this special NCA Centennial video.
Members of the coffee community helped with the post-Katrina recovery effort during the 2011 National Coffee Association Centennial Convention in New Orleans. This community service project focused on landscaping a section of one of the largest urban parks in the United States. Volunteers spent hours digging, mulching, planting and watering 100 donated trees to replace the ones destroyed by 30-feet deep flood waters.
